However, as digital transformation (DX) continues to expand throughout society, we are increasingly required to establish a new mathematical foundations capable of responding to challenges arising across industries, various scientific fields, and society, while fostering interdisciplinary value and innovation.<br>Mathematics for Industry Platform (MfIP) aims to establish a nationwide platform to address societal needs through Japan&#8217;s mathematical community and to foster the development of &#8220;Convergence Knowledge&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group u-mb-ctrl u-mb-40\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading u-mb-ctrl u-mb-10\">MfIP discovers needs and seeds to solve problems in industry, society, and various scientific fields through collaborations.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-check_list\">\n<li>MfIP provides the collaborative database that can match solutions of problems, joint researches, internships, etc between industry, society, and various scientific fields and mathematics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MfIP hosts workshops that explore new collaborations between industries, societies, various scientific fields, etc and mathematics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group u-mb-ctrl u-mb-40\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading u-mb-ctrl u-mb-10\">MfIP provides an environment for fostering collaborations between mathematics and industries, various scientific fields, and society.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-check_list\">\n<li>MfIP hosts events showcasing examples of mathematical applications across industries, various scientific fields, and society.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MfIP hosts workshops that employ Project-Based Learning (PBL), for example &#8220;study group&#8221;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group u-mb-ctrl u-mb-40\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading u-mb-ctrl u-mb-10\">MfIP serves as a liaison office for building collaborative networks between mathematics and industries, various scientific fields, and society.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-check_list\">\n<li>MfIP provides opportunities to establish collaborative networks with mathematics through the Joint Usage\/Research Center.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MfIP provides a liaison office for initiating collaborations with mathematics to support for problem-solving, joint research projects, internships, and more.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MfIP supports for exploring new collaborations opportunities with the mathematical community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group u-mb-ctrl u-mb-40\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading u-mb-ctrl u-mb-10\">MfIP promotes the circulation of expertise between mathematics and industries, various scientific fields, and society by giving value to intellectual assets and investing in academic research and development.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-check_list\">\n<li>MfIP implements projects that support collaborative research, including those between mathematics and industries, various scientific fields, and society, via human resources developments and administrative collaborations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The mathematical community of Japan has played an important role, international, over many years.
